Important daily information such as game updates, directions to fields, weather cancellations, etc. will be posted on our website www.abingtonjuniorcomets.com. Please check the site regularly for information. We will also be utilizing a “Hotline” phone number for weather cancellations.
Call 586-7490 after 4:30 pm if the weather is looking questionable. You will hear a message stating if practice or a game is cancelled. Sometimes the weather changes quickly and this is the best way to have information available to everyone. Phone calls from team moms will be made only in exceptional cases this year. Sometimes football may still practice even if cheerleading is cancelled.

ATTENTION! NEW PRACTICE FIELD
New for the 2010 season! Practice for this season will be near Allied Services in the Abington Executive Park. Home games will still be played at the Abington Heights High School and Comet Stadium (the pit).
We are aware that driving patterns are complex with close to 400 participants. However:
We have been informed by Allied Services that our current traffic pattern is not working due to accessibility for employees and emergency vehicles. Therefore, please note the following, as it will take place immediately:
Ø Stay to the right entering the complex
Ø Follow around the back of Allied’s building in one direction for all drop offs and pickups. This will form one big circle and should make this process easier.
Ø There is no dropping off, picking up or parking in the loop in front of Allied or near Met Life.
Ø No parking on grass or roads.
Ø If parking, please use the Allied Parking lot to the side and rear of the building
Please help us maintain a good relationship with Allied Services so that we may continue to practice at this nice field that we are very fortunate to have the opportunity to utilize.

Starting Thursday September 2nd, at the practice field, there will be NO PARKING on the little road leading to the blue storage shed or on the strech of pavement behind the POD and Pine Trees. This request was made by Allied Security and Maintenance. It is asked that this area remain open for Allied's needs. Thank you for your compliance and cooperation.

!Beginning the week of September 6th,
FOOTBALL A,B AND C TEAM Practice will now be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
from 5:30 TO 7:30 PM
D TEAM will no longer practice on Wednesday.
D team practice
will be tuesday and thursday only.
Cheerleaders will have practice on Monday's until the Labor Day holiday.
The following week the cheer schedule will change again.
We'll be preparing for competition and you'll be notified of the changes.
